Refund policy

becauseL damaged, Lost, stoLen or deLivered to the wrong address : In the case of a parcel without tracking (and so without insurance) unfortunateLy you will not be able to obtain a refund. In the case of an insured package, the carrier will conduct an investigation. Depending on the resuLt of the investigation, you will obtain the amount covered by the insurance (aLLow severaL weeks before obtaining reimbursement). In the case of a damaged insured package, the carrier will determine the amount of the refund after investigation.

Return / exchange / refund:We Ndo not accept returns or exchanges unless theitem you purchased either defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us within one week of receiving your order, at lfoLlowing email address : chitoroshop@gmaiL.com, and provide product and defect details. NoWe will then tell you if we accept and how to return the product. The product must be in the same condition as when received. In the event of a return, we do not guarantee that the package will indeed arrive at our premises, in fact there may be probLems reLated to the postaL services. If the package does not arrive at our premises, we will therefore not be able to examine it and therefore not be able to offer you a refund or exchange.

You will have to bear the cost ofshipping related to the return of your item. We are not responsible for loss or damage in transit. If it is determined that the reason for the return is due to an error on our part; shipping costs will also be refunded, otherwise shipping costs will not be refunded. If you are eligible for an exchange or refund, we will repLace the product or we will refund the price ofpurchase (depending on the original payment method).

Packages returned to Japan :

If you prefer to be reimbursed, we will deduct the shipping costs from the first shipment. This rule applies to both parcels with or without a tracking number.

Tax: We are not responsible for customs controls and the costs that ensue, so any tax and other costs related (if any) to the importation of your packages are your responsibility. In the event of a package being returned for taxes not paid by the recipient, we will not be able to reimburse you for the shipping costs.
